How do I choose a builder?

Many builders do not advertise so they are harder to find than home listings on the MLS. Having a Realtor familiar with New Construction in your corner can help you sort through them all, based on location, budget, time frame and overall quality.

Total build time is running anywhere from 6 months to 2 years depending on the builder and complexity. Some builders also offer “spec homes,” which can be ready much sooner but with little to no room for customizations. Your realtor can help you find accommodations until construction is completed.
