ADVENTHEALTH FOUNDATION The AdventHealth Foundation takes care of their local community through more than just seeing to their physical health. They also donate generously to the wider community. In 2019 alone they donated over 78 million to causes to benefit the underprivileged and the elderly, as well as community safety and infrastructure.
FOOD BRINGS HOPE Food Brings Hope, Inc. founded in 2007 by local businesswoman and philanthropist, Forough B. Hosseini, is a 501(c)3 public charity dedicated to providing collaborative solutions for families with children who experience hardships due to homelessness, poverty, or unfamiliarity with community resources.
MARINE RESOURCES COUNCIL Marine Resources council works to improve water quality, protect and restore the fish and wildlife resources of the Indian River Lagoon, coastal waters, inshore reefs and the watershed. They do so by advocating, using sound science, education and the involvement of the local community.
SECOND HARVEST Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is a member of Feeding America, the largest charitable domestic hunger-relief organization in the United States. Second Harvest secures and distributes food and grocery products to approximately 550 local non profit feeding programs throughout Central Florida.
DOMESTIC ABUSE COUNCIL Our mission is to provide quality trauma-informed, empowerment-based services to survivors of domestic violence while working with community partners to ensure safety and justice for all survivors and their children. Our vision is to create a community where all families, however they are defined, can live free from violence.
